Thanks to the use of the innovative 135g PentaTX material in the leading edge and strut, the weight has been significantly reduced without compromising durability. This high-tech material offers up to 5 times higher tear resistance and 50% less stretch compared to standard 160g Dacron.
In combination with a smaller leading edge diameter, this ensures less drag and direct power transfer. The result? More control, faster response, and optimal drift when riding down the line on the wave.
With its low sweep angle and forward-oriented profile, the Float SLS offers a very stable pressure distribution and extremely smooth sheeting. The slight front-handed power delivery ensures intuitive handling, while the lower wingtip angle improves drift and float characteristics. This keeps the wing effortlessly stable in the air, even in challenging conditions.
